This cake I baked for a birthday party and the request was a birthday cake with the child's favorite teddy bear on. I got a picture sent to me and this is the result. The recipe for the cake base comes from Simone, and you get a  high cake base just as she said, and it was also very moist. I filled the cake with vanilla custard, banana and strawberries. Glazed it with chocolate fudge frosting, which I have used extensively since I saw the recipe on Tove's blog.

Chokladtårtbotten

270 g vetemjöl
75 g kakao
1,5 tsk bikarbonat
3/4 tsk salt
170 g osaltat smör, rumstemp.
435 g socker
0,5 tsk vaniljsocker
3 stora ägg, rumstemp.
350 g standardmjölk, rumstemp.

dekorationer: chokladfudgefrosting, marshmallowfondant

Fördela smeten i formen. Grädda på lägsta falsen i ugnen i cirka 50-60 minuter.
Låt svalna i formen i 15 minuter, stjälp upp tårtbotten och låt svalna helt.

0,5 tsk vanilla sugar
3 large eggs, room temp.
350 g whole milk, room temp.

Add the soft butter in a household assistant and whisk until it becomes creamy. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and continue to whisk until it is white and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in the eggs, one at a time on low speed. Stir flour mixture with a spatula in three batches alternating with the milk. Begin and end with flour.
Spread the batter into the cake tin. Bake on lowest seam in the oven for about 50-60 minutes. Allow to cool in the tin for 15 minutes.
