The new Philadelphia cream cheese with the taste of truffles has become a favorite in our home. It is good on bread, on salty biscuits but also used in food. This macaroni casserole got so good with a hint of truffles. Do you like this new cream cheese? Are you able to get it where you live?
Tryffel Makaronilåda
5-6 dl kokt makaroni
400 g blandade grönsaker (lök, purjo, vitkål, paprika, zucchini)
2 ägg
1 dl färskost, tryffel
1,5 dl mjölk
0,5 tsk salt
1/4 tsk vitlökspulver
nypa svartpeppar
riven tryffelost
I en stekpanna stek de blandade grönsakerna tills de mjuknat. Blanda makaroni och grönsaker i en ugnsfast form. I en skål blanda ihop ägg, färskost, mjölk och kryddor. Häll på makaroniblandningen och toppa med riven ost. Grädda i 175 C grader i 30 minuter.
Truffle Macaroni Casserole
5-6 dl cooked macaroni
400 g mixed vegetables (onion, leek, white cabbage, bell pepper, zucchini)
2 eggs
1 dl cream cheese, truffle
1.5 dl milk
0.5 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
pinch black pepper
grated truffle cheese
In a frying pan fry the mixed vegetables until soft. Mix macaroni and vegetables in an ovenproof dish. In a bowl mix together the eggs, cream cheese, milk and spices. Pour over the macaroni mixture and top with grated cheese. Bake at 175 degrees C for 30 minutes.
