Can I have your attention, please :) These red lentil flatbreads turned out so good! And that they are very easy to make is perfect. I have eaten them with bean sauce, toasted with toppings and eaten them as bread with hummus, tomato and cucumber. They were a favorite right away. If you want a protein-rich bread and vary yourself I recommend these.
Red Lentil Flatbread / Pancakes
about 10 pcs
2 dl red lentils, uncooked (150g)
2 dl water
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp salt
one pinch of black pepper
Put the red lentils in a high-speed blender and mix until they resemble a fine flour. Stir in water, oregano, salt and pepper. Let the batter sit for 2-3 minutes so the lentils absorb some of the water and it becomes thicker. Heat a frying pan with coconut oil. Fry small pancakes, spread the batter with with the back of a spoon. Cook 1-2 minutes over medium heat, then flip over and cook 1 minute on the other side.
Röda Linser Tunnbröd / Pannkakor
ca 10 st
2 dl röda linser, okokta (150g)
2 dl vatten
1 tsk oregano
1/4 tsk salt
en nypa svartpeppar
Sätt de röda linserna i en mixer och blanda tills de liknar ett fint mjöl. Blanda i vatten, oregano, salt och peppar. Låt smeten stå i 2-3 minuter så linserna absorberar lite av vattnet och blir tjockare. Värm en stekpanna med kokosolja. Stek pannkakor av smeten och bred ut dem med baksidan av en sked. Stek i ca. 1-2 minuter över medelvärme, vänd på dem och stek ca. 1 minut på andra sidan.
