Pie crust made with almond flour is very good and above all tasty. It is slightly crumbly, but that does not affect the taste. I made individual pies (6pcs), but it is just as easy to make on big. And as always fill the pie with what you want or what you have at home :)
Vegetable Pies with Gluten-Free Pie Crust
fried vegetables (bell pepper, zucchini, onion)
tomato sauce
pesto
pie crust:
5 dl almond flour
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 egg
1/4 tsp salt
cheese, grated
For the crust put all the ingredients in a bowl and stir with
a spoon until the mixture forms a ball. Press dough into a 22 cm pie dish or
use several small ones. Fill the pie with the vegetable mixture and top with
cheese. Bake at 175° C for 15 minutes.
Grönsakspajer med glutenfritt pajskal
stekta grönsaker (paprika, zucchini, lök)
tomatsås
pesto
pajskal:
5 dl mandelmjöl
2 msk kokosolja
1 ägg
1/4 tsk salt
ost, riven
För pajskalet lägg alla ingredienser i en skål och rör om
med en sked tills blandningen bildar en boll. Tryck degen i en 22 cm pajform
eller använd flera små formar. Fyll pajen med grönsaksblandningen och toppa med
ost. Baka i 175 ° C i 15 minuter.

ReplyDeleteI made these tasty beauties & loved the crust so much! I haven't used much almond flour before but made my own by grinding whole almonds up in the dry container of my Vitamix! So good!
