I hope you all had a nice Christmas Eve with good food and good company. Christmas food is really good and something I always look forward to as Christmas approaches. I like to eat Christmas food for about three consecutive days, after that I usually want to have something else. This year I made mulled wine on apple-black currant juice and served it with gingerbread cookies and gingerbread buns. If you want you can add some wine.
Glögg, alkoholfri
6 dl äpple-svartvinbärssaft, sockerfri
20 kryddnejlikor
2 kanelstänger
skal från 1 apelsin
1 tsk kardemumma
Lägg alla ingredienser i en kastrull. Värm upp och stäng
sedan av värmen och låt stå i 30-60 minuter. När det är dags att servera, värm
upp glöggen och häll i koppar med russin och mandel.
Mulled Wine, alcohol free
6 dl apple-black currant juice, sugar-free
20 cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
peel from 1 orange
1 tsp cardamom pods
Put all ingredients in a pan. Heat until warm and then turn
off the heat and let sit for 30-60 minutes. When it's time to serve heat up the
mulled wine and pour in cups and add raisins and almonds.
