Salvo Bakehouse in Amsterdam is a bakery/café that has been around for over a year. The owner is from Italy and the pastries are Italian inspired. I have tried the bakery's cinnamon bun and croissant filled with vanilla cream. Their croissants are baked the Italian way, which means they are sweeter and softer than the French croissant. The cinnamon bun is sweet and has plenty of filling. The croissant is a bit dry with a not-so-sweet vanilla cream. I like regular croissants and am not so fond of filled ones. The cinnamon bun was very tasty and soft and fluffy.
