Today I would like to suggest a good way to use bread that has become dry. If you can't use it right away to make croutons, then you can dice it and put it in the freezer. When it's time to make croutons, take the bread pieces out of the freezer and let them thaw. Then just season to taste and roast in the oven. Good!

Surdegsbrödkrutonger av fryst Bröd
ca. 3 dl tärnat surdegsbröd, fryst och tinat
1 msk olja
1 liten vitlöksklyfta, pressad
1,5 tsk Italienska örter, torkade
en nypa salt
Lägg alla ingredienser i en bunke och blanda så att alla brödbitar belagda med olja.
Sprid ut tärningarna på en ugnsplåt klädd med bakplåtspapper. Rosta i ugnen i 200 C° i ca 15 minuter. Låt svalna och förvara i en lufttät glasburk.
Sourdough Bread Croutons of Frozen Bread
approx. 3 dl diced sourdough bread, frozen and thawed
1 tbsp oil
1 garlic clove, pressed
1.5 tsp Italian herbs, dried
a pinch of salt
Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix so that all the bread pieces are coated in oil.
Spread the cubes out on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Roast in the oven at 200 C° for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool and store in an airtight glass jar.
