Gurksallad
1 gurka
1 röd lök
0,5 orange paprika
vatten
Lag
3/4 dl vatten
3/4 dl ättiksprit, 12%
strösocker / honung, efter smak
salt, efter smak
ingefära, valbart
Skär alla grönsaker i små tärningar. Lägg allt i en bunke och häll över kokat vattnet så att det täcker grönsakerna. Låt stå i 10 minuter. Sila bort vattnet.
Blanda vatten, ättika, strösocker, salt och koka upp. Lägg i grönsakstärningarna och koka utan lock i 10 minuter. Häll upp gurkblandningen på varma, väl rengjorda burkar.
Cucumber Pickled Salad
1 cucumber
1 red onion
0.5 orange bell pepper
water
Brine
3/4 dl water
3/4 dl vinegar, 12%
granulated sugar / honey, to taste
salt, to taste
ginger, optional
Dice all vegetables. Put everything in a bowl and pour over boiled water so that it covers the vegetables. Let sit for 10 minutes. Strain off the water.
Mix water, vinegar, sugar, salt and bring to a boil. Add the vegetables and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Pour the cucumber mixture into warm, well-cleaned jars.
