In Finland there is a food chain called Café Picnic and they have a baguette that I remember with warmth. It was a baguette filled with a chicken mixture with a taste of curry. I was craving such a bread and made my own version with quorn and the mixture I made of mayonnaise, quark and curry. I heated the baguette slightly and filled it with the cold mixture.

Värm en stekpanna med lite olja och stek quornbitar och lök en stund. Låt svalna. I en skål blanda kvarg, majonnäs och kryddor. Blanda sedan i quorn-lökblandningen. Smaka av. Lägg i kylen en stund. Fyll en baguette med fyllningen.

Heat a frying pan with some oil and fry quorn pieces and onion for a while. Let cool. In a bowl mix the quark, mayonnaise and spices. Then mix in the quorn-onion mixture. Taste and season more if needed. Refrigerate for a while. Fill a baguette with the filling.
