We still have chocolate eggs from Easter :) For example these with the taste of advocaat, which is a traditional Dutch liqueur. They are perfect to use in baking and I put an egg in each muffin. They got really good.
Advocaat Custard Muffins
6 muffins
50 g butter, room temperature
1 dl sugar
1 large egg
1 dl wheat flour
0.5 dl custard powder (Sallinen)
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
6 advocaat chocolate eggs
Preheat the oven to 175 C. Stir together the butter and sugar. Add the egg and stir well. The add the rest of the ingredients. Pour the batter into muffin cups and press one chocolate egg i each muffin. Bake for about 20 minutes.
Advocaat Vanilj Muffins
6 muffins
50 g smör, rumstemperatur
1 dl socker
1 stort ägg
1 dl vetemjöl
0,5 dl vaniljkrämpulver (Sallinen)
1 msk mjölk
1 tsk vaniljessens
