Creamy delicious pies with a filling of custard and cherries. I made two smaller pies, but you can of course bake one big. I also made a glaze of icing sugar and the liquid from the cherry filling.
Körsbärs-Vaniljpaj
2 små pajer
pajbotten:
50 g smör, mjukt
0,5 dl socker
1 ägg
1 1/4 dl vetemjöl
0.5 tsk bakpulver
1 dl körsbärsfyllning
smuldeg:
15 g smör
2 msk socker
2 msk vetemjöl
1/4 tsk vaniljpulver
vaniljkräm:
2,5 msk vaniljkrämspulver (Sallinen)
1 1/4 dl vatten
Blanda samman smör och socker. Blanda i ägget och sedan resterande ingredienser. Bred smeten i pajformerna. Häll på körsbärsfyllningen. Blanda vaniljkrämspulver och vatten. Låt stå 5 minuter. Lägg vaniljkrämen på körsbärsfyllningen. Blanda ihop ingredienserna för smuldegen till en smulig blandning och strö på vaniljkrämen. Grädda i 175 C i ca 25 minuter.
Cherry-Vanilla Pie

pie crust:
50 g butter, soft
0.5 dl sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 dl wheat flour
0.5 tsp baking powder
1 dl cherry filling
crumbs:
15 g butter
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp wheat flour
1/4 tsp vanilla powder
custard:
2.5 tbsp vanilla cream powder (Sallinen)
1 1/4 dl water
Mix butter and sugar together. Mix in the egg and then the remaining ingredients. Spread the batter in the pie pans. Pour on the cherry filling. Mix the vanilla cream powder and water. Let sit for 5 minutes. Put the vanilla cream on the cherry filling. Mix together the ingredients for the crumbs into a crumbly mixture and sprinkle on the custard. Bake at 175C for about 25 minutes.
