Today, there are many alternatives to meat and fish to buy. I remember a few years ago the supply was not as large and now it feels like new products are constantly coming. When I saw in the store salmon fillet that are vegan, of course I wanted to try them. It is reminiscent of fish to taste, this one had a slightly smoky taste and even the texture was similar to real fish. Fun to try, but nothing I will buy again. For the fish I made an egg sauce, which I think fits well with fish.
Äggsås
30 g smör
2 msk vetemjöl
3 dl mjölk
2 kokta ägg, hackade
salt, efter smak
dill
Smält smöret i en kastrull. Vispa i mjölet. Blanda i hälften av mjölken och låt såsen tjocka till. Blanda i resten av mjölken och låt sjuda i 5-10 minuter. Blanda i äggen, salt och dill efter smak.
Egg Sauce
30 g butter
2 tbsp wheat flour
3 dl milk
2 cooked eggs, chopped
salt, to taste
dill
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Whisk in the flour. Stir in half of the milk and allow the sauce to thicken. Mix in the rest of the milk and let simmer for 5-10 minutes. Mix in the eggs, salt and dill to taste.
