Happy Easter! How do you celebrate Easter if you celebrate it? Is there something special you eat during Easter, besides chocolate eggs :) We celebrate with good food, good pastries and enjoy the days off work. We have over +20 C degrees now in Amsterdam, lovely. So we will spend a lot of time outside. Maybe it's time for the first picnic this year. Have a nice weekend!
Påsktårta med Saltkola Chokladägg
75 g smör, mjukt
100 g kvarg
1 1/4 dl socker
1 stort ägg
1 dl mjöl
0,5 dl kakaopulver
1 tsk bakpulver
7 st saltkola chokladägg
Värm ugnen till 175 C. Klä en rund bakform (16 cm) med bakplåtspapper. I en skål blanda ihop smör och socker. Tillsätt ägget och blanda tills fluffigt. Tillsätt kvargen och rör om. Rör sedan in mjöl, kakaopulver och bakpulver. Häll smeten i bakformen och tryck i chokladäggen. Grädda kakan i ca 25 minuter. Låt kakan svalna i formen. Dekorera med påskgodis.
Easter Cake with Salted Caramel Chocolate Eggs
75 g butter, soft
100 g quark
1 1/4 dl sugar
1 large egg
1 dl wheat flour
0.5 dl cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
7 pcs salted caramel chocolate eggs
Preheat the oven to 175 C. Line a baking pan with parchment paper. In a bowl, stir together butter and sugar. Add the egg and mix until fluffy. Add the quark and stir well. Then stir in the flour, cocoa and baking powder. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and press the chocolate eggs in the batter. Bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Let the cake cool in the pan. Decorate with Easter candies.
