Today's recipe is a lentil stew with taste of curry and garlic. I used red lentils, which do not require a long cooking time. The stew is great for serving with rice and a fresh salad.

1 gul lök, hackad
1 paprika, hackad
2 dl torkade röda linser, sköljda
1 burk krossade tomater (400 gram)
2-3 dl vatten
1-2 tsk curry
1/4 tsk vitlökspulver
salt
svartpeppar
Stek lök och paprika i olja några minuter. Tillsätt linser, krossade tomater och 2 dl vatten. Låt sjuda i 20 minuter. Tillsätt vatten om det behövs. Krydda med curry, vitlökspulver, salt och svartpeppar.

1 yellow onion, chopped
1 bell pepper, chopped
2 dl dried red lentils, rinsed
1 can of crushed tomatoes (400 grams)
2-3 dl water
1-2 tsp curry
1/4 tsp garlic powder
salt
black pepper
Fry onion and peppers in oil for a few minutes. Add lentils, crushed tomatoes and 2 dl water. Allow to simmer for 20 minutes. Add water if necessary. Season with curry, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
