This is a simple cake with taste of rum. I used rum essence which gives a good taste to the cake. The flavor intensifies the following day.
Rum flavoured Cake
75 g butter, soft
1 1/4 dl sugar
2 eggs
2 dl wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
rum essence
Whisk butter and sugar. Beat in one egg at a time. Mix in flour, baking powder and rum essance. Pour the batter into a greased and floured baking pan. Bake the cake at 175 C for about 35 minutes.
Kaffekaka med smak av Rom
75 g smör, mjukt
1 1/4 dl socker
2 ägg
2 dl vetemjöl
1 tsk bakpulver
