Next week's Tuesday is Shrove Tuesday and I have already seen so many different variations of Shrove Tuesday baked goodies on social media. Inspired by Diana, I baked this sticky cake. It is very sweet, so I would reduce the amount of sugar slightly. But of course everyone is different, some want it sweeter than others. But the cake is really good!
Fastlagsbulle-Kladdkaka
mandelmassa:
2 dl mandelmjöl
2 msk florsocker
mandelmjölk
100 g smält smör
1,5 dl mandelmjöl
1,5 dl socker
2 ägg
2 tsk kardemumma
dekoration:
vispgrädde
florsocker
Sätt ugnen på 175 C grader.
Mandelmassa: Rör ihop mandelmjöl, florsocker och mandelmjölk till en mandelmassa.
Tillsätt resten av ingredienserna i mandelmassan. Rör ihop allt ordentligt. Häll smeten i smord bakform (20cm) och grädda i mitten av ugnen i 15-20 minuter. Låt kakan svalna helt. Dekorera kakan med vispad grädde och florsocker.
Shrove Tuesday Sticky Cake
almond paste:
2 dl almond flour
3 tbsp powdered sugar
almond milk
100 g melted butter
1,5 dl almond flour
1,5 dl sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp cardamom
decoration:
whipped cream
powdered sugar
Heat the oven to 175 degrees C.
Almond paste: Mix almond flour, powdered sugar and almond milk into a almond paste.
Add the rest of the ingredients into the almond paste. Stir everything together properly. Pour the batter into a greased pan (20cm) and bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 minutes. Let the cake cool completely. Decorate the cake with whipped cream and powdered sugar.
