A moist coffee cake with licorice sauce, very good if you ask me :) The licorice flavor does not take over, but still gives a good taste to the cake. A slice of the cake together with a cup of coffee and you have the perfect coffee break.
Lakritskaka
100 g smör, mjukt
1 dl socker
1 ägg
1,5 dl mjöl
3/4 tsk bakpulver
2 msk lakritssås
Vispa smör och socker fluffigt. Vispa sedan i ägget. Blanda ner mjöl och bakpulver. Lägg 1/3 av smeten i en annan skål och blanda i lakritssås. Häll hälften av den ljusa smeten i två st silikonformar (7cm i diameter). Häll sedan på smeten med lakrits i och på den den resterande ljusa smeten. Dra en kniv genom smeten så att de blandas lite. Grädda kakorna i 175 C i ca 25-30 minuter.
Licorice Cake
100 g butter, soft
1 dl sugar
1 egg
1.5 dl flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp licorice sauce
Beat butter and sugar fluffy. Then whisk in the egg. Mix flour and baking powder. Put 1/3 of the batter to another bowl and mix in licorice sauce. Pour half of the light batter into two silicon molds (7cm in diameter). Then top with licorice batter and lastly the remaining light batter. Pull a knife through the batter so that they mix a little. Bake the cakes at 175 C for about 25-30 minutes.
