Adding a grated apple to the bread dough makes them extra moist. Have you tried? You do not taste the apple very much, but it gives a little sweetness to the bread.
Semlor med Äpple
2,5 dl vatten, 42 C
7 g torrjäst
1 tsk salt
1 msk sirap
1 msk olja
1 äpple, rivet
2 dl havregryn
4 dl fullkornsmjöl
ca 2 dl rågmjöl
Tillsätt i det varma vattnet torrjäst, salt, sirap, olja och det rivna äpplet. Blanda sedan i havregryn och fullkornsmjöl. Tillsätt rågmjöl lite i taget tills degen släpper bunkens kanter. Den får vara lite lös. Låt jäsa 30 minuter. Forma med mjölade händer till 9 st semlor. Låt jäsa 15 minuter. Grädda bröden i 200 C i ca 15 minuter.
Buns with Apple

1 tbsp oil
1 apple, grated
2 dl oats
4 dl whole grain flour
about 2 dl rye flour
Add to the warm water dry yeast, salt, syrup, oil and apple. Then mix in oats and whole grain flour. Add rye flour a little at a time until you have a smooth dough. It may be a bit loose. Allow to rise for 30 minutes. Shape into 9 buns with floured hands. Allow to rise another 15 minutes. Bake the buns at 200 ° C for about 15 minutes.
