Tofu in itself does not taste much, so it is important to marinate it or to season it properly. In today's recipe you get a marinade for tofu with sesame oil. The tofu can then be used as a filling in e.g. pita, salads...
Sesame Tofu
300 g tofu, diced
marinade:
2 tbsp water
1.5 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
0.5 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp coconut blossom syrup
0.5 tsp ginger powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp cornstarch
Dice the tofu and place them in the marinade and allow to marinate for 30 minutes. Heat a frying pan and fry the tofu and 2 tbsp of the marinade for 5-10 minutes. Flip the tofu as needed to brown all sides.
Sesamtofu
300 g tofu, tärnad
marinad:
2 msk vatten
1,5 msk sojasås
1 msk sesamolja
0,5 ss risvinäger
1 msk kokosnötblommesirap
0,5 tsk gingerpulver
1/4 tsk vitlökspulver
1/4 tsk cayennepeppar

Jag vet inte om jag smakat tofu nån gång. Men jag kan tänka mig att det behöver kryddas ordentligt, precis som du säger. Ha en fin dag!
