The first time I ate Bircher muesli was at a hotel many, many years ago and I immediately liked it. I have since made every now and then different versions of it, and you can use your favorite ingredients and flavors. In Singapore, I sometimes bought Bircher muesli from Swiss Bakery which contained apple, pear, currants and blackberries. Very good! In todays Bircher muesli I have chia, protein powder, apple and cinnamon, but chia and protein powder is not something you need to add in your muesli. Do you have a recipe for Bircher muesli to share?
Apple Cinnamon Bircher Muesli
1 dl old-fashioned oats
1 3/4 dl unsweetened almond milk
1 small apple, grated
2 tbsp soy yogurt
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp hemp-vanilla protein powder
1 tsp pumpkin seeds
0.5 tsp cinnamon
Stir together all the ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate overnight. Top with diced apple and cinnamon.

1 dl gammeldags-havregryn
1 3/4 dl osötad mandelmjölk
1 litet äpple, rivet
2 msk soja yoghurt
1 msk chiafrön
1 msk hampa-vaniljproteinpulver
1 tsk pumpafrön
