Yum! Yes, with that word, I start today's post, for this dish was really good. I have never been fond of hamburger buns, so why not use sweet potato slices as the bread for your burger. Delicious and more filling than a light and airy white bread. I filled the "buns" with veggie patties, fresh baby spinach, sliced red onion, tomato and hummus.
Veggie Burger with Sweet Potato Buns

sweet potato

salt
Wash the sweet potato and slice it into thick slices to make "buns". Brush the slices with oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake them in the oven for about 25 minutes.

Tvätta sötpotatisen och skär den i tjocka skivor för att göra "bröden". Pensla skivorna med olja och strö över salt. Grädda dem i ugnen i ca 25 minuter.
