I associate pepper sauce with meat, but you know what, the sauce ges very well with vegetarian patties too. I actually think this was the first time I made pepper sauce :) Better late than never, and how delicious it is not with a creamy, peppery sauce.
Pepparsås
1 liten rödlök, finhackad
2,5 dl vispgrädde
0,5 tärning veg. buljong
1 skvätt soya
peppar av olika slag, efter smak
Fräs löken i kokosolja eller smör i en kastrull några minuter. Rör ned peppar (t.ex. svartpeppar och grönpeppar) och stek med löken en stund. Häll på grädden och låt koka upp. Smula i buljongtärning och en skvätt soya. Låt sjuda länge så såsen blir tjock. Smaka av med ev. salt och mera peppar.
Pepper Sauce
1 small red onion, finely chopped
2.5 dl cream
0.5 cube veg. stock
1 dash soya
pepper of various kinds, to taste
Fry the onions in coconut oil or butter in a saucepan a few minutes. Stir in peppers (such as black pepper and green pepper) and fry with the onion for a while. Pour in the cream and bring to boil. Add the stock cube and a dash of soy sauce. Let simmer for a while, until the sauce becomes thick. Season with salt and some more pepper if needed.
