Cooler weather brings the craving for hot porridge. I like to cook my porridge with milk and water to make it creamier. Salt is important to add. When I serve the porridge with jam on it, it takes me back to my childhood :) Butter on my porridge is always a must. How do you eat your porridge?
God & Värmande Havregrynsgröt
1,5 dl havregryn
2 dl mjölk
1 dl vatten
salt
Koka upp mjölk och vatten och blanda i havregrynen. Koka på svag värme till en krämig konsistens. Salta. Servera genast med sylt, bär och smöröga.
Delicious & Warming Porridge
1.5 dl oatmeal
2 dl milk of choice
1 dl water
salt
Boil the milk and water and mix in the oatmeal. Cook over low heat until creamy. Add salt. Serve immediately with jam, berries and butter.
