Inlagd gurka är något jag växt upp med. Mamma gjorde det ofta och vi åt den oftast med köttsås och potatis. Min mormor gjorde också ofta inlagd gurka. Är det något du växt upp med?

 Pickled cucumber is something I grew up with. Mom did it often and we usually ate it with meat sauce and potatoes. My grandmother also often made pickled cucumbers. Is it something you grew up with?


Inlagd Gurka

1 gurka, tunt skivad
1 dl vatten
2 msk ättika
socker, efter smak
salt, efter smak
dill, efter smak

Blanda ättika, vatten. socker, salt och dill i en skål. Lägg i gurkan och häll upp i en burk med lock och ställ i kylen i någon timme före servering.


Pickled Cucumber

1 cucumber, thinly sliced
1 dl water
2 tbsp vinegar
sugar, to taste
salt, to taste
dill, to taste

Mix vinegar, water. sugar, salt and dill in a bowl. Add the cucumber and pour into a jar with a lid and place in the fridge for an hour before serving.
