This granola is my favorite right now, so incredibly crispy and tasty. Not too sweet and it's so good together with yogurt, berries and peanut butter. You don't actually taste the chickpeas at all, so don't be afraid of it. Dare to try!
Jordnöts-Kikärts Granola
2 dl kokta kikärtor
1 dl havregryn
1 msk jordnötsmjöl
2,5 msk fibersirap (eller annat sötningsmedel)
en nypa salt
Mixa i en matberedare kikärtorna och havregrynen till en torr blandning. Blanda sedan i jordnötsmjöl, sirap och salt. Smaka av och tillsätt mera sötning vid behov. Smula blandningen på en bakplåt klädd med bakplåtspapper. Rosta i ugnen i 150 C grader i ca 40 minuter eller tills knaprigt. Blanda efter halva tiden. Låt svalna och förvara i en lufttät burk.
Peanut-Chickpea Granola
2 dl cooked chickpeas
1 dl oats
1 tbsp peanut flour
2.5 tbsp fiber syrup (or other sweetener)
a pinch of salt
In a food processor, mix the chickpeas and oats to a dry mixture. Then mix in the peanut flour, syrup and salt. Taste the mixture and add more sweetening if needed. Crumble the mixture onto a baking sheet covered with baking paper. Roast in the oven at 150 C degrees for about 40 minutes or until crunchy. Mix halfway through. Allow to cool and store in an airtight jar.
