Ellis Gourmet Burger has three restaurants in Amsterdam and we visited the one on Gravenstraat 20. We were well greeted when we arrived and we had to wait a few minutes to get the table (we were a bit early). The menu offers a number of burgers and there are three vegetarian burgers, of which one is the vegan Beyond burger. We ordered their tomato soup, which came with a white bun and the beyond burger with sweet potato fries and tartar dip. Both tasted good. The tomato soup was flavourful and had a good balance of flavours. The portion size was small, but with the bun more filling. The beyond burger was tasty and had a lot of flavours. The burger contained marinated onion,  pickled cucumber, tomato, lettuce mustard and ketchup. The sweet potato fries were not as crunchy as I had hoped for, they were quite soft, but tasted good. The tartar dip was delicious. 

The service was polite and they offered to tell more about the menu. 
The restaurant on Gravenstraat has seating on two floors and is cozy and nice. Overall a nice experience and if you are in Amsterdam it's worth a visit. 












Ellis Gourmet Burger har tre restauranger i Amsterdam och vi besökte den på Gravenstraat 20. Vi hälsades väl när vi kom och vi fick vänta några minuter för att få bordet (men vi var tidiga). Menyn erbjuder ett antal hamburgare och det finns tre vegetariska hamburgare, varav en är den veganska Beyond-hamburgaren. Vi beställde deras tomatsoppa, som kom med vitt bröd och Beyond hamburgaren med sötpotatis pommes och tartardipp. Båda smakade bra. Tomatsoppan var smakfull och hade en god balans mellan smaker. Portionsstorleken var liten, men med brödet mer mättande. Beyond hamburgaren var välsmakande och hade mycket smak. Hamburgaren innehöll marinerad lök, inlagd gurka, tomat, sallad, senap och ketchup. Sötpotatisen var inte så knaprig som jag hade hoppats på, de var ganska mjuka, men smakade bra. Tartardippen var god.

Servicen var artig och de erbjöd att berätta mer om menyn. Restaurangen på Gravenstraat har sittplatser i två våningar och är mysig och trevlig. Sammantaget ett trevligt besök och är du i Amsterdam så gå gärna hit.
