In this tasteful sauce I added banana slices because I thought it could give a good taste to the sauce. And it did. If you do not like banana, then exclude it. But do try, if you want a different taste on a sauce.
Tofu Chickpea Coconut Sauce
0,5 tbsp oil
1 red onion, chopped
200 g tofu, diced
1 carrot, sliced thinly
15 cm zucchini, diced
0.5 tsp turmeric
0.5 tsp ginger
0.5 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1.5 dl chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 small banana, sliced
1.5 dl coconut milk
0.5 dl water
salt
black pepper
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add the onion and fry for a minute or two. Add tofu, carrot, zucchini and turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and garlic and fry for 30 seconds. Stir in chickpeas, banana, coconut milk and water. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

0,5 msk olja
1 rödlök, hackad
200 g tofu, tärnad
1 morot, skivad tunt
15 cm zucchini, tärnad
0,5 tsk gurkmeja
0,5 tsk ingefära
0,5 tsk kanel
1/4 tsk vitlökspulver
1,5 dl kikärter, sköljda
1 liten banan, skivad
1,5 dl kokosmjölk
0,5 dl vatten
salt
