Have you cooked porridge on buckwheat groats? I like the texture of the porridge, you get some chewing resistance, but if you want a smooth porridge you can mix the groats. Cinnamon is a good flavor in porridge and I add plenty, but use as much as you want.
Buckwheat Cinnamon Porridge
3/4 dl buckwheat groats
2.5 dl water (for soaking)
1 1/4 dl almond milk
0.5-1 tsp cinnamon
sweetener of choice
Soak the groats overnight in 2.5 dl of water.
Strain and rinse the groats thoroughly to get rid off as much of the slime as possible. Put the groats, almond milk, cinnamon and sweetener in a saucepan, and cook for 5-8 minutes until the mixture thickens.

3/4 dl bovetekärnor
2,5 dl vatten (för blötläggning)
1 1/4 dl mandelmjölk
0,5-1 tsk kanel
sötningsmedel efter smak
Blöt kärnorna över natten i 2,5 dl vatten.
