A simple way to prepare breakfast for the next morning is to make overnight oats. This time I mixed in apple and cinnamon, a classic combination.
Overnight Apple Chia Oats
2 dl oats (3/4 cup + 1 tbsp)
1,5 dl almond milk or more (2/3-3/4 cups)
1,5 dl soy yogurt (2/3 cup)
2 tbsp chia seeds
cinnamon
vanilla
1 apple, grated or diced
Mix the oats, milk, yogurt, chia, cinnamon and vanilla in
a bowl. Put in the fridge for a couple of hours or overnight. Grate/dice the
apple and stir into the chia-oats. Add some milk if the mixture is too thick. Serve.
Overnight Äpple Chia Oats
2 dl havregryn
1,5 dl mandelmjölk eller mer
1,5 dl soja yoghurt
2 msk chiafrön
kanel
vanilj
1 äpple, riven eller tärnad
Blanda havre, mjölk, yoghurt, chia, kanel och vanilj i en
skål. Ställ i kylen i ett par timmar eller över natten. Riv äpplet och rör ner
chia-havregröten. Tillsätt mjölk om gröten är tjock. Servera.
