These pasties are a delicious treat to serve on Walpurgis Night, and otherwise they are excellent to be served at buffets, to take along on picnics, excursions. For filling, I used spinach, ricotta and boiled eggs. Very fresh and good.
1 tsk olivolja
1 rödlök,
finhackad
1 vitlöksklyfta,
hackad
500 g spenat,
frysta
150 g ricottaost
en nypa muskot
salt
svartpeppar
kokt ägg, hackade
smördegsark
Hetta upp oljan i
en stekpanna och fräs lök och vitlök tills den är mjuk. Tillsätt spenaten. Fortsätt
att koka på låg värme ca 5 minuter. Tillsätt ricottaost och blanda. Krydda med
salt, peppar och muskot.
Fyll
smördegsark med fyllningen och lägg på hackat ägg. Kläm ihop degkanterna med en gaffel. Grädda
i 200 grader ca 20 minuter.
Spinach Ricotta Egg filled Puff Pastry
1 tsp olive oil
1 red onion,
finely chopped
1 garlic clove,
minced
500 g spinach,
frozen
150 g ricotta
cheese
a pinch of nutmeg
salt
black pepper
boiled eggs, chopped
puff pastry sheets
Heat the oil in a
pan and fry the onion and garlic until soft. Add the spinach.
Continue to cook
on low heat approximately 5 minutes. Add the ricotta cheese and mix. Season
with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Fill puff pastry
sheets with the filling and chopped egg. Close the sheets by pressing the corners together
with a fork. Bake in 200 degree oven for 20 minutes.
