I like to use almond flour in pastries, because it gives a nice texture to the pastry. I think it's like you have more to bite into :) Hope you understand what I mean. And to get a delicious taste to the cake, I chose to add orange. The cake became so good and moist.
Apelsin-Mandelkaka
50 g smör, mjukt
0,5 dl socker
1 ägg
1 dl vetemjöl
3 msk mandelmjöl
3/4 tsk bakpulver
2 msk yoghurt
0.5 apelsin, skal
1 msk apelsinsaft
Blanda smör och socker fluffigt. Tillsätt ägget och blanda väl. Blanda sedan i resterande ingredienser. Häll smeten i en liten bakform (14 cm) klädd med bakplåtspapper. Grädda i 175 C i ca 20-25 minuter.
Orange-Almond Cake
50 g butter, soft
0.5 dl sugar
1 egg
1 dl wheat flour
3 tbsp almond flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp yogurt
0.5 orange, zest
1 tbsp orange juice
Mix butter and sugar fluffy. Add the egg and mix well. Then mix in the remaining ingredients. Pour the batter into a small baking tin (14 cm) lined with parchment paper. Bake at 175 C for about 20-25 minutes.
