This is a simple cake that goes well with the afternoon coffee. I like to drink coffee as it is with nothing, but usually I have something small and good with it. Like for example a slice of good cake. What do you have with your afternoon coffee?
Kaffekaka
1 dl vatten
2 tsk espressopulver
0,5 dl kakaopulver
25 g mörk choklad
1,5 dl socker
1 ägg
1 dl creme fraiche
3/4 dl olja
2 dl vetemjöl
1 tsk bakpulver
en nypa salt
Blanda vatten, espressopulver och kakao i en kastrull. Värm upp och lyft bort från spisen och lägg i chokladen. Låt stå en stund och blanda sedan allt slät. Blanda i socker. Tillsätt sedan ägg, creme fraiche och olja. Till sist blanda i mjöl, bakpulver och salt. Häll smeten i en smord och mjölad sockerkaksform. Grädda i 175 25-C i ca 30 minuter.
Coffee Cake
1 dl water
2 tsp espresso powder
0.5 dl cocoa powder
25 g dark chocolate
1.5 dl sugar
1 egg
1 dl creme fraiche
3/4 dl oil
2 dl wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
Mix water, espresso powder and cocoa in a saucepan. Heat up and lift away from the stove and place in the chocolate. Let stand for a while and then mix everything smoothly. Mix in sugar. Then add eggs, creme fraiche and oil. Finally mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Pour batter into a greased and floured sponge cake pan. Bake at 175 C for about 25-30 minutes.
