Happy New Year! Hope you had a nice evening yesterday with good food and good company. One of the dishes I made for the New Year was this Brussels sprouts gratin which was so good. I did not like Brussels sprouts as a child but now I enjoy it and eat it gladly. This gratin I recommend if you also like Brussels sprouts.
Brysselkålsgratäng
500 g brysselkål
vatten
salt
2 msk mandelmjöl
1/4-0,5 tsk salt
1 msk sirap
0,5 dl matlagningsgrädde
Dela brysselkålen och koka mjuk i saltat vatten. Häll bort kokvattnet och mixa kålen slät med en stavmixer. Blanda i mandelmjöl, salt, sirap och grädde. Smaka av. Grädda i 175 C i ca 40 minuter.
Brussels Sprouts Gratin
500 g Brussels sprouts
water
salt
2 tbsp almond flour
1 / 4-0.5 tsp salt
1 tbsp syrup
0.5 dl cooking cream
Divide the Brussels sprouts and cook soft in salted water. Pour off the boiling water and mix the sprouts smooth with a hand held mixer. Stir in almond flour, salt, syrup and cream. Season to taste. Bake at 175C for about 40 minutes.
