Potato gratin does not always have to be made with cream. I have used broth and cream cheese and they give a very creamy texture. I used a cream cheese with a taste of garlic and herbs. I can imagine that it can be good to use a truffle-flavored cream cheese as well. Happy day!
Potatis Soltorkad Tomatgratäng
500 g potatis, i stavar
1,5 dl buljong
100 g vitlök & örter färskost
8 soltorkade tomater, hackade
salt
svartpeppar
Lägg den skivade potatisen och soltorkad tomat i en ugnssäker form. Blanda buljong, färskost och kryddor i en skål och häll på potatisen. Grädda i 200 C i ca 40 minuter eller tills potatisen är mjuk.
Potato Sun-Dried Tomato Gratin
500 g potatoes, sticks
1.5 dl broth
100 g garlic & herb cream cheese
8 sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
salt
black pepper
Put the sliced potato and sun-dried tomatoes in an ovenproof dish. Mix broth, cream cheese and spices in a bowl and pour on the potato. Bake at 200 C for about 40 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
